Sony fired employees before data theft, says the process

Sony fired employees of a unit responsible for the security of your network two weeks prior to the invasion of the great systems of company data by hackers, according to a process to court this week handed. In addition, the company spent a fortune to protect corporate information itself, although it failed to do the same with the data of its customers, the report said.

In the process delivered to the court of San Diego (USA) on Monday (20), a set of customers that Sony claims the company knew what was at great risk of hacker attack after suffering previously, other minor intrusions.

The text also states that the company laid off a "substantial percentage" of its workforce at Sony Online Entertainment, including "several" employees of the network operations center, division responsible for the security of these systems, attributing the claim to a confidential source.

The Japanese company has come under fire since April, when hackers accessed the personal information of 77 million users of the platform PlayStation Network games and multimedia Qriocity. At the time, Sony announced that data from customer credit cards were stolen.

Team ICO going into hiding because of you!

If you're planning on infiltrating Sony Computer Entertainment Japan's headquarters to steal an early demo of The Last Guardian, you're going to have to make a slight adjustment to your plans. SCEJ's headquarters will be moving to Sony's main Shinagawa office shortly.

Team ICO head Fumto Ueda made a Tweet today about the move. "Starting next week, TRICO's production base will move to Shinagawa. We're looking forward to a major reformation of our development environment as a video game studio that can take on the world."

Ueda's Tweet came as he'd just finished packing up boxes around his desk. He had to get some help from other people.

Word of Sony Computer Entertainment's plans to move out of its current Aoyama studio first appeared last April (read the story here). According to the initial report from Nikkei, of SCE's 1,400 employees, 1,000 are move to Sony's main Shinagawa office with the remaining staff moving to other buildings in that area.

Official Apologies for the PSN Outage
It's almost confirmed that SONY will apology for the outage and hacks that recently took place in the PSN. They will likely expand the Welcome-Back program and make us happier! In my Opinion, it was an accident and something that will never happen again.

What I expect from SONY PSP Remaster Series for PS3

In case you don't know, SONY announced it's PSP Remaster Series for PS3 - Basically Great PSPs Games released with new textures, extras and in HD! So far, the only confirmed games are Monster Hunter Portable 3rd and God of War Portable Collection (This one via rumors).

But do we really want what games to be re-released? In my case it's far more than that. What do I expect then, you ask? Let's see!

1. Quality Over Quantity

I don't care if they release all the games, but I expect those to have quality and real HD Graphics and Textures and lots of extra content.

2. Good Titles, Not Crap

Monster Hunter Portable 3rd has been a great choice from SONY, but I fear this may be the only one. GOW is a game I can't play because it's not my style. I'll be greedy in this one, and I expect Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker, Yakuza Tales: Black Panther, .Hack//LINK and Bleach Heat the Soul 7 to name a few.

3. NGP Compatibility

The NGP is getting a release in December, I'm almost sure of this. SONY must put some kind of system that allow us to transfer the Remastered PSP games in our NGP! The NGP is almost a PS3! It's POSSIBLE!

What do you think of this? Any PSP game you want to see in PS3?
